So the virbank city complex has wild Growlithe, another delightful ouppy i can't catch for typing reasons :( Truly this should have been an "Oops! All Canines" run... I haven't seen any other water types either, but tbh i'm not sure how likely I am to see another until I get a fishing rod. I think the next stuff's Castella city, a desert, then Nimbasa city, so I'm pretty sure the next chance for a wild water type is maybe ducklett on one of the bridge routes unless I get a fishing rod soon.
All that to say, I've been considering my team build cause I've only got three pokemon and i've been starting to feel a bit down on Florentijn, the Psyduck. It feels like he both doesn't deal as much damage as I'd like, but also like he himself is on the fragile side. I suppose I could be trying to do some disable shenanigans but it seems like each time I do, I end up disabling like odor sleuth or helping hand for speed or priority reasons, the moves I'd least want to disable.
Then he grew to level 15. And learned Confusion. As I'm heading over to fight the Poison gym. He didn't quite singlehandedly take the entire gym, cause dang Roxie's Whiripede is bulky AND fast, but it was a near thing!
Got the Toxic badge! Now to become a pokestar studio darling before heading on to the Big City!
